Hi everyone! On November 4th - 6th I'm hosting Virtually There Book Fest. I'm so excited about this event, but I've not seen it done before so I'm extremely nervous about how it's going to go. Anyway, here's all of the info you need. Hope to see you there! Mia x A book signing with a difference. Virtually There is a book signing that’s held entirely online and completely free to attend! We know signings can become expensive, and it's not possible to attend them all due to locations and costs, so VTBF is offering an alternative. From November 4th – 6th, join a host of authors for 3 days of takeovers, live video chats, interviews, Q&As, and giveaways from the comfort of your home. You’re invited! VTBF has everything from NYT & USA Today Bestsellers to new indies you need to discover on our list so there will be something for everyone. And apart from joining in with the amazing online events we have planned, you will also be able to buy signed paperbacks from our authors and have them shipped straight to your door—even internationally. You might even get lucky and have an author include swag. What are you waiting for? Join the event today so you don’t miss out. It’s FREE! Attending Authors

Hi everyone!
As some of you may have noticed, I've been slow at posting/responding the last few weeks. But I have a reason! I have been putting off writing this post because it meant admitting things, some of which may not seem entirely good for my readers. However, I thought I owed it to you all to explain what's going on in my life and why I might continue to be slow for awhile. Okay, so as some of you may have seen, I have been battling with my muse and writing has become increasingly difficult for me lately. I won't go into the reason why, but I haven't written anything new in about 3 months. I've known I've been needing a change--or something else in my life--for awhile now, so in September I enrolled at a university to study for a degree. I've been thinking about returning to education (after deferring for a few years to focus on writing) for awhile, but it just so happened I caught the deadlines right before they expired. I made a quick decision to enrol, and within a matter of weeks I was studying. This is why you've never seen a post about this before now. It was very much a rash decision to dive in at that moment, but it was no means rash in considering what I was studying. A BA in Arts & Humanities (specialising in English Language and History) for those who are interested. As like I said, I've been mulling this over for awhile. Anyway, you're probably wondering why this is relevant. Well, it means I'm going to be cutting back on the number of releases and books I write over the next three to four years. Or at least that's my intention. So far, starting my studies has only revived my love of writing and since my degree began I've found myself writing a new standalone and Chequered Flag 4. Yay! Although, I will not be sharing these projects for awhile. Most of you are probably used to me releasing a minimum of 3 books a year. However, right now this is looking unlikely to continue while I get my degree in order. Please understand: I AM NOT QUITTING. I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE I WILL STILL BE WRITING/ONLINE. Just maybe a little slower. I am aiming for one book a year and any more will be a bonus. Here's what the rest of the year and 2017 looks like so far. * Nov 4th - 6th: Virtually There Book Fest (visit the event here) * Dec 5th: Stolen Breath releases (pre-orer for 0.99 here) * Oct - Dec: I'm hoping to re-release False Finder by the end of the year although this isn't a guarantee. I'm currently doing a major re-edit. * January 28th: Indie Pop Up Signing: Birmingham (tickets) * August 24th: Chapter Con, London (tickets) 2017 is very much open to what I intent to write/publish. For now, I won't be tying myself to schedules or deadlines until I have been studying for more than a week and have got a better grasp on my workload. You'll have to keep checking my sites to find out about new releases. ;-) Anyway, I hope you all bear with me. This degree is important to following another dream of mine (which will remain a secret for now), so I have to put it first until I understand things better. Happy reading! Mia x ★~ COVER REVEAL ~★ I'm so excited to reveal the cover for Stolen Breath (Chequered Flag 3)! Stolen Breath releases on December 5th, but if you pre-order now you can scoop it up for only 0.99. This sale won't last past release day, where the price will go up to $2.99, so get it on sale while you can. Blurb My name is Zeke Lawson, but you probably know that already because everyone’s heard of me. I’m the bad boy of Formula One. The player. The heartbreaker. At least that’s what I allow people to believe. The truth is too precious to be tarnished by reporters, and no matter what my fans think, they don’t deserve access to every detail of my life. It’s just a shame Nadine Hadley doesn’t see it that way. She’s writing the feature every driver longs for on me—the one that can make your career. The only problem is she wants more than I’m willing to give her … and she’s playing dirty to get it. Flirtatious smiles, skimpy dresses, sex: Nadine is using my reputation against me, and it’s working. No man could resist her, especially when she swears not to print my story. So now I’m in too deep. I want her more than anything, yet falling for a journalist may cost me the one thing I vowed to protect. Although, that seems insignificant when compared to another issue I face this racing season. Did I forget to mention someone is trying to kill me? ★ Pre-order Stolen Breath for 0.99 (reg price $2.99)★ |
